Multiple race winner Ben Sharpe will make his return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup at Brands Hatch on the weekend of 18th & 19th June, when he will drive one of the two Pro Alloys Racing-run cars.
Having taken two Civic Cup race wins last season when running in his own car that was supported by his own team, the Northamptonshire-based driver will make a one-off return and join permanent Pro Alloys team driver Owen Hillman for next weekend’s triple-header meeting.
Already familiar with both the Civic EP3 and having taken a race win last year on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, Sharpe will be looking to build on his experience and will be one to watch for.
Sharpe is grateful to Pro Alloys Racing team principal Neil Greenland for giving him the opportunity to compete this season and allowing him the chance to make a return to the championship.
“I have to say a big thanks to Neil and Pro Alloys Racing for the opportunity. It’s going to be great to get back racing again”, said Ben.
“I’ll be re-joining the championship for a one-off drive in their second car at Brands Hatch for rounds four, five and six. We have a test planned before the event to get everything dialled-in, which will give me the chance to get re-acquainted with the Civic EP3 and get used to working with the team and be ready to go when it comes to the first of the weekend’s three races.”
