Dave Marshall gets set for full-season entry

After winning the last three rounds of 2021 at Snetterton, Dave Marshall will make a full time return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup this year, driving an FN2 model Civic in the Production Class.

Prepared and run by Kinetic Motorsport, Marshall hopes to carry on from where he left off last year and in doing so, hit the ground running for the new season.

Having made the transition from an experienced and successful sim racer to a full-time real-world competitor, Marshall has the advantage of being able to put his virtual skills to good use on the track.

Attracted to the Civic Cup due to its low cost, fiercely contested and fair racing, Marshall re-discovered his love of motorsport during his previous outings and is understandably excited as he anticipates the season ahead.

Together with Kinetic Motorsport and support from K A Car Sales, he looks forward to developing his skills and the car’s set-up as he takes on the Production Class contenders.

“Having worked my way up to a successful level in sim racing, my performances last year at Snetterton have shown me that despite a recurring technical issue, I was able to transfer those skills to take three race wins in one day!” said Marshall.

“Knowing that I’m running on a tight budget this year and won’t get into the car until the season opener at Cadwell Park, I’m still hoping to make an impression and whilst I’m realistic in my aspirations, Production Class podiums will be a welcome bonus.”
