Jeff Alden is the latest of a new batch of drivers to enter this year’s Milltek Sport Civic Cup, where he will compete under the Kinetic Motorsport in association with Matrix Group banner.

Alden, who for the past three years was a regular Volkswagen Racing Cup competitor and before that contested a season and ran a four-car team in the Clio Cup, will enter the Milltek Sport Civic Cup for the first time this year, competing in the Cup class for more modified cars.

Driving an FN2 model Civic in the Matrix Group colours, the Kinetic Motorsport driver who has extensive experience of hotly contested one-make saloon car championships is looking to get up to speed quickly:

“After four seasons in closely fought single-make series’ and finishing runner up in the VW Racing Cup last year, I’m hoping to call on the experience and transfer the skills to the Civic Cup, with my aim to establish myself in the Cup Class fairly quickly”, said Alden.

“I’d like to think I can be inside the top ten in the points standings by the end of the year, but in such a competitive championship I know I’ll be up against some very experienced Civic Cup drivers and their teams.”
