Mike woods age 48... Yes I know you can't believe it... Lives- Swansea South Wales, Married 2 children.

Started racing in 2006, first race car Rover 216gti cup car. 2008 won the Welsh Sports and Saloon car championship Class B in Honda civic eg6. 2011 came 2nd in the Nippon challenge gt200 class.

Spent most of my early twenties playing rugby, won a youth cap for Wales and progressed to first class rugby playing for Swansea RFC, decided to hang my boots up and concentrated on a career in architecture. Having established and architectural practice in my local area, and having reached my forties I decided to time to have some fun. As I live near Pembrey ' the home of welsh motor sport' I learned that I could 'go racing'.

This was the start of my motor racing experience....having raced competitively over the last few season in the Nippon challenge and went bumper to bumper with Rich Hockley..usually his front on my rear...I decided to enter the Civic Cup to see if I was really...any good!
